Transient was founded 1994 by Disco Volante (Russel Coultart and Lawrence Cooke) to release their own tracks and those from other artists on the London party scene. Music policy was mostly trance and psy-trance. Transient Records effectively closed their doors, ceasing to release new music, in January of 2005. They continue to sell items from their back catalogue through the Transient.com website, however.
